You’ll often hear us say it’s not how many leaflets you hand out, but how many responses you get. Same applies to advertising in publications. The design of the ad is more just as important as circulation, size and positioning.
We work on a few adverts, and it’s not something everyone knows we do. So we thought it’d be nice to stick a couple of the latest ones on here.
With over 30 years experience within the body shop and motor trade ChipTech is a modern body shop offering traditional services and specialising in minor body work & alloy wheel repairs. Here are a couple of recently published full and quarter page ads:

I was watching The Ashes last Sunday.
That’s Cricket between England & Australia, for those who get out more than me.
In each commercial break they played the advert for a Peugeot 308 Verve, I’d say at least 6 times. I’m not a fan of that advert so I’m struggling to find an objective point of view. Maybe one of you guys and gals can help shed some light on the situation.
It appears to me that the target audience for the advert is female. The advert features an extra smooth (bit too smooth for me) chap pitching the car to a lady. She’s a bit smooth for me too, but nevertheless, it makes me think they are marketing the car as one for the ladies.
Now, despite the fantastic efforts of England (& Wales’?) women’s cricket team, I’m not sure too many ladies were watching the cricket on that Sunday afternoon. So, if those slots were an intentional move from the Peugeot marketeers, I’d like to find out why.
At least I knew he said the other colour was ‘Noir’.
There are plenty of people in this country still wondering what he means by ‘we have no are’.
Oh dear.
